I haven't worked on a 12 inch square for quite some time, so thought it would be fun to do so after the larger Red Cone. I chose a study that was a cool color after painting two works––Red Cone and Yellow Curve––whose main colors were on the warm side of the spectrum. I like the very simple geometry of this image, with 2 strong diagonals and a horizontal dominating the composition.
